The reason is around the time FFVI came out I was playing Chrono Trigger at the same time. So I didn't really get that far in it. Although I am only about half way through FFVI, it is already my favorite Final Fantasy (was Final Fantasy VII). The storyline is the best in the series (even better than FFVII). A gunblade is a sword with a pistol embedded in the blade.
